KohAI privacy notice

KohAI is in a private test, by invitation only. This notice says what we store during the test. A full notice will be published before KohAI opens to the public.

Who we are

KohAI is made by its two founders, Seb Kroon and Sam Pander, who are based in the Netherlands. They are responsible for your data. KohAI is not a registered company yet. For anything about your data, write to privacy@trykohai.com.

The app on your computer

Your code, your chats with your AI, your lessons and your progress stay on your own computer. KohAI does not send them to us. What you send to your AI tool (Claude Code, Codex or Gemini CLI) goes straight to that tool's maker, under that maker's own terms and privacy notice.

The app contacts trykohai.com for two things only: signing in to your KohAI account, and checking whether a new version is available.

What we store

We store nothing about payments: nothing is sold during the test.

Who handles it for us

We do not sell your data and we do not use advertising trackers.

How long we keep it

Your account stays until you delete it. Your place on the wait list stays until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it.

Your rights

You can see and download your data and delete your account yourself on the account page. You can unsubscribe from the wait list with the link in any email from us. You can also ask us by email to see, correct or delete your data, and we answer within one month. You may complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
